Sizing up the smallest to biggest satellites

It goes without saying (but we’re going to say it anyway) that satellites come in all shapes and sizes. But how do you know the difference between a large satellite and a medium satellite? What about a nanosatellite versus a CubeSat -- or are they the same thing?
