We are excited to announce that for the first time ever, we will be at the 2019 Avalon Airshow Exhibition this weekend!
In addition to being a fantastic first for us, the 2019 Airshow will be celebrating its own first – because for the first time ever, the Airshow will have a focus on the space industry and STEM education and careers. It’s a wonderful chance for Victoria to show off its capabilities in space-related R&D, design, engineering and advanced manufacturing – and of course, in career pathways!
You can find us in the #VicGov Pavilion along with other organisations such as Scienceworks, VSSEC, AYAA, MBO, Moonshot, and Nova Rover, as well as Victorian universities such as the University of Melbourne, Monash Engineering, La Trobe, Swinburne Centre for Astrophysics and Supercomputing, RMIT and Federation University.
When and where: Saturday 2 – Sunday 3 March (gates open 8.00am – 6.00pm) at the Avalon Airport, Geelong, Victoria.
With the event set to attract over 200,000 attendees this year, the 2019 Airshow will be an event not to miss! Some of the biggest names in defence and aerospace, including Lockheed Martin, Thales, Boeing, Aerostructures Australia and BAE Systems – all of which have operations in Victoria! – will be in attendance as well.
